About Us

Jersey the largest of the Channel Islands covers only 45 square miles. Situated 30 miles north France, and 90 miles south of England, it is served frequently by car ferries and major airlines.

The island is known for a variety of reasons the Jersey Cow, the Jersey Royal potatoes, and in more recent times for our offshore financial centre. Due to ancient laws the islands are self governed and are not part of the EU which has enabled us to set our own taxation laws. This in turn has attracted global corporate and wealthy residents to the island.

As an example of our tax structure it was only very recently that a sales tax was introduced for local residents which is set at only 3% and 0% for overseas residents. Ideal for importing labour intensive car restoration projects perhaps!

Established in 1990 the Le Riche workshops footprint covers some 12,000 square foot with dedicated areas for accident repair and painting, panel restoration, coach building, upholstery, mechanical repair and vehicle storage and sales.

Along with our concours winning restorations and routine maintainence we have undertaken some more unusual projects; prototype development, vehicle
re manufacture, (the first Jaguar the “Austin 7 Swallow”) and the remake of the “Back to the Future” Delorean for a company marketing campaign.
