Danbury have been camper van conversion specialists for decades and more recently producing the re-worked brand new type 2 bay window for some 10 years now. The classic bay window design of 1969 disguising modern mechanicals and running gear. They arrive into the UK as basic white vans and Danbury set about metamorphosis it into your chosen specification. You can choose your own colour of the lower half, choose to or not to have an elevating roof and bunk bed, and decide whether to bling it up with some retro chrome fittings or not, again all optional with many other choices.

Upon deciding that you want a classic camper conversion as opposed to a people carrier then there are many choices here, from light and dark veneered wooden cabinets housing sinks, ovens, fridges, lav's etc to various fabrics and leather swatches to trim the interior. A mains hook up option is available to charge your lap top or even opt for a petrol heater and awning. Again the choices are endless.

Powered by a water cooled VW Polo engine unit. Quiet and nippy compared to the original 1960's flat 4 air cooled unit which has the benefit of being able to run on bio fuel. The mechanicals of this vehicle carries a 3 year warranty from Volkswagen. There are options when ordering such as left to right hand drive conversion, suspension lowering, and rack and pinion steering options. The more you have the more it costs!
